Visionary Annual Conference 2026

Member and Partner Workshops

As part of our programme development, we are inviting Visionary members and partners to deliver a workshop and share the brilliant work you do. Member and partner led sessions are always one of the most valued parts of the conference.

We have reserved a number of workshop slots specifically for member organisations to showcase your work, share what has worked (and what has not), and offer practical insight others can learn from. This might be a project you are proud of, a challenge you have navigated, a collaboration that has made a difference, or an experience others can learn from.

We are particularly keen to hear from organisations who have worked in partnership, whether with other members, national partners or with organisations from outside the sight loss sector. Ideally, workshops will focus on ideas that are transferable, scalable, and relevant across the UK, or that offer honest reflections and practical lessons from your experience.

How to apply
If you would like to deliver a workshop, please email email Amy Pearman (opens email) by 5pm on Friday 24 April 2026 with the subject line: “Visionary Annual Conference 2026 workshops”.  In no more than 300 words, please outline:

• Who will deliver the session
• What the session will cover
• What delegates will learn
• Any partner organisations involved

All proposals will be reviewed alongside the wider conference programme, and we will confirm selections by Monday 11 May 2026.

What workshop facilitators get
In return, we offer workshop facilitators:

• A complimentary day delegate place for the day of your workshop.
• 10% discount on any additional conference elements you book.
• Travel expenses (up to £100 per person) for up to two facilitators.
• Acknowledgement and promotion of your organisation as part of the conference communications.

We aim to open bookings in May, with the initial phase for members and partners only. We will share more details about bookings and the conference programme over the next few months.  In the meantime to assist with you planning, the prices for this year’s event are below.
