The UK’s landlines are going digital.
Digital Voice is the name of BT’s new home phone service. Digital calls are made over our broadband network, rather than the old analogue network, which has been around for more than 40 years. We have until the end of January 2027 to move all of our customers to a digital service.
The Digital Voice Engagement team have been raising awareness across the UK in relation to the landline switchover and what it means for the public.
This virtual session will help you understand more about the switchover and will provide you with information on the support available for those that are vulnerable, those that use a telecare device and those that do not have broadband.
