Monday 17 March 2025

Zoom
Please note: This session has been postponed. The new date is to be confirmed.
Join us for the RNIB legal right series with RNIB’s Legal Rights Service Team who will provide you with information regarding supporting the legal rights of your clients in line with specific laws and benefits.
This session in the series looks at how disabled people are protected from discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. This one-hour session will provide an overview of who is considered disabled under the Act and what constitutes discrimination. We will also look at the most common cases of discrimination experienced by blind and partially sighted people within goods and services and what to do if a service user believes they have been discriminated against because of their disability.
