Meeting Registration

Following on from the interesting and informative “RNIB Vision Rehabilitation – Freedom of Information Findings and Campaign” session held on 13 March 2024, please come along to the follow up session to hear about sector wide developments.

In consultation with Visionary members, RNIB submitted Freedom of Information requests regarding current vision rehabilitation provision across England. In the previous session of “RNIB Vision Rehabilitation – Freedom of Information Findings and Campaign” on 13 March 2024, Sophie Dodgeon, Mike Wordingham and Hannah Donnelly shared the findings, outlined the resulting campaign and answered questions from Visionary members.

RNIB Out of Sight campaign overview: RNIB will call on each of the political parties to commit to providing effective and consistent service delivery of vision rehabilitation services across the country, if they form the next UK Government. This is one of RNIB’s key areas of campaigning activity as they want to ensure every blind and partially sighted person receives the right support, whenever they need it. The campaign will highlight the value of vision rehabilitation services for blind and partially sighted people and encourage decision makers to prioritise these vital services.
