This bi-monthly forum is for anyone involved in delivering rehab services and whose organisation is part of the Visionary network.

The aim of the forum is to provide you with a space to regularly share new ideas and support each other through these difficult times. It is an opportunity for you to connect with other people working in rehab who are facing similar challenges to talk about real life practical solutions.

9 December 2025- Guest Speaker: Richard Bounds has recently been appointed as CEO of RWPN. Richard will join our December meeting to talk a bit about his new role and find out more about what the important issues are for people working in the world of rehab and hab. As the new CEO of Rehabilitation Workers Professional Network, Richard is keen to make connections with all rehab and hab stakeholders to join in the many conversations under way across the sector. The Visionary network is a great place to start!  Richard has enjoyed a long career in sight loss and sensory services, qualifying as a Vision Rehabilitation Specialist in the mid-90s. He progressed into leadership roles in charity and public sector settings and is trustee and chair of two local charities. He has a passion for empowering people to achieve their chosen goals, and for collaborating with partners to create quality, person-centred solutions that really work.  More recently, as a freelance consultant, Richard convened and chaired the national Trailblazer Employers Group, creating an updated apprenticeship standard for Vision Rehabilitation. He has worked with Irish Guide Dogs to deliver and develop their national Orientation and Mobility services.
