Visionary have worked with the RNIB to create a legacy fundraising series to support you with your legacy journey. We have created a series of sessions looking at the what, where and whys of legacy fundraising. The sessions will be an interactive opportunity to share your experiences, challenges and successes.

The series is designed to cover all aspects of legacy fundraising at an introductory level, where each session follows on from the previous session.

During Session 2: Will writing providers, of the Legacy fundraising series with RNIB on 10 September 2024, 1 PM to 2 PM, we will look at:

• different ways blind and partially sighted people and anyone who wishes to donate in their will to a sight loss organisation can write their will (online, at home, with a solicitor).
• examples of providers who offer those services.
• terms and conditions.
• communicating well.
• how to promote Bequeathed.

There will be break out rooms with the opportunity to share your experience of working with different providers. Afterwards, the group will come back to ask questions about the wider session. Session 4: The do’s and don’ts of social media, 5 November 2024

• • When and where to post on Facebook.
  • Test and refine your posts.
  • Social listening.
  • Choosing the right picture.
  • Copywriting.
  • Using Canva templates.
  • Paid ads and boosted posts.
  • Follow up to include social media toolkit – do’s and don’ts of hashtags, using emojis etc.
