Visionary masterclass: Building political relationships and influencing policy in a changing political landscape
Wednesday 13 May 2026
2:00 pm to 3:00pm
Zoom
With local elections across much of England in May as well as national elections in Wales and Scotland, across the UK we face a changing political landscape that presents challenges for every organisation.
In this Visionary masterclass, Specsavers Head of Health Partnerships, James Moseley, will talk about the practicalities of engaging with politicians and policy makers – from local councillors to MPs and government ministers – and how to maximise your impact in the face of limited time and resources and competing demands on political decision makers.
The talk will also discuss why engaging with politicians matters and explore some of the challenges that are emerging with the rise of new political parties at both a local and national level. If you have any questions or issues you would like James to cover during the session, please let us know when you are registering.
