The development of employment services can be problematic as participation from blind and partially sighted job seekers can be sporadic, making employment of a specialist worker expensive or not cost-effective.
Devon In Sight’s partnership with Thomas Pocklington Trust’s (TPT) Works For Me service, offers a solution for organisations without their own employment service, which are attempting to balance service delivery priorities and finances.
The session will deal with the workings of the partnership, including referrals, working practices, advertising and webpages.
The session will feature contributions from Grahame Flynn, CEO of Devon in Sight with Tessa Barrett, Head of Services and members of the TPT Employment Team.
