We have a dedicated staff team working from our Head Office in Derby, our small sub-office in Chesterfield and at the two main hospitals in Derby and Chesterfield.  We would not, however, be able to run our services without the help and support of our trusted volunteers.  With over 70 volunteers helping with our hospital work, children’s services, fundraising and almost everything we do, volunteers really are essential to our ongoing work.

We are now looking for a Volunteer Coordinator with passion, drive and enthusiasm to help us retain and recruit to our volunteer base.

Part of the team based in Derby and reporting to the CEO, you will need to be a ‘self-starter’ and able to work on your own initiative to ensure that services run smoothly and deliver the required outcomes.

It is essential that you are real ‘people person’ and can motivate and support our current and potential volunteers.  Whilst it is desirable that you have experience in volunteer management, it is not essential as you may have transferable skills from staff management and support services.

You will need to be able and willing to travel around the county.
