Contract: 3 year term which can be renewed for further 3 year terms

BucksVision is a charity with a 111 year history of supporting people affected by sight loss in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. We are looking for passionate Trustees, who represent the diverse community we support, to bring their experience and skills into our organisation to enable us to provide an accessible, effective and appropriate service to our members as we embark on a new chapter in charity’s history.

Over the next few years we will be seeking to grow our fundraising capability and developing a new strategic vision, so we are looking for Trustees to bring new talent and ideas to our Board to help us achieve this. We are seeking people with expertise in areas of Fundraising, Marketing, HR and Digital Services.

We welcome applications from those people who reflect the diversity of the work that we do and have first-hand experience of sight loss. Previous board experience is not necessary as the Trustee Board and the staff team can offer training and support to those who would like to take on their first Trustee role. We particularly welcome applications from those who are underrepresented on charity sector boards.
