Salary: Starting salary £10.00 per hour (£7,800 p.a. FTE £18,720 p.a.) Following successful completion of training rising to £11.42 per hour

We are Sight for Surrey – an ambitious charity offering a lifetime of support to people who are blind or partially sighted, Deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing.  Our mission is to support people to overcome their day-to-day challenges, achieve their potential and lead an independent life.  Established in 1922, we are a countywide charity based in Fetcham, near Leatherhead.

We are seeking a person to join the already established Rehabilitation Support Worker team. You will assist with the provision of proportionate assessments and rehabilitation for people with vision impairment or combined sight and hearing loss.

Hours are worked flexibly to meet the needs of the role.  The post holder will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check, which we will arrange.  In view of our Social Care activities, our aim is to have a fully vaccinated workforce, and we encourage and support our workers to protect themselves with available vaccinations.
