Salary: Salary beginning at £24,152 to £25,547 per annum. Rising to £30,510 - £34,882 per annum on qualification.

NESS is the leading local provider of services for people living with serious sensory loss including people who are deaf and blind.
We are seeking a Trainee Rehabilitation Worker, who will undertake the one-year post-graduate course in Vision Rehabilitation at Glasgow Caledonian University , starting in January 2023. On completion, they will work as a Rehabilitation Worker for NESS in Aberdeen.
The successful candidate will be qualified at HNC, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in social care, community care or another related discipline. You will be keen to work with people with sensory loss, delivering person-centred practical solutions, enabling them to face their own specific challenges and increase their independence.
Although based in Aberdeen, you will need to travel independently to Glasgow Caledonian University as required. You will also need to be able to visit service users in their own communities around the city.
