We are delighted to share this exciting opportunity to join Beacon’s management team as Trading Manager. 

Beacon Vision is committed to making a visible difference for people with sight loss. This is an ever-greater challenge, with the predicted increase in those impacted by sight loss in the West Midlands set to rise to 350,000 by 2050.  In the role of Trading Manager, you will work alongside your colleagues in the Income Generation team, seeking to maximise opportunities to increase revenues and donations to support the organisation’s mission, vision and values and overall sustainability.

This role manages all commercial activities undertaken by the charity including our extensive charity retail division and food and drink offer. It will focus on empowering people to lead on development of these offers as well as driving income growth including identifying new commercial opportunities including developing e-commerce opportunities for the charity.

The successful candidate will be a commercially driven and motivated self-starter who identifies opportunities and understands the role of energy and initiative.  You will have a track rack record of working with senior management in a dynamic, fast paced, and challenging environment with ideally at least five years trading experience and strong financial management skills.
