Teacher of Literacy

Hours: 14 hours per week
Salary: £37,895 - £47,565 per year FTE (£15,158 - £19,026 per year pro rata)
Contract: Fixed Term - 12 Months
The Royal Blind School have an exciting opportunity for appointing an enthusiastic and adaptable Teacher of Literacy. The role will lead our literacy curriculum and provision for young people with complex additional support needs and vision impairment.
The post holder will have experience of teaching literacy at Broad General Education and / or young people with a range of needs. Training will be provided in Braille and a range of communication methods to enable access to literacy.
