Rehabilitation Officer Visual Impairment (ROVI)

Location: A hybrid working mix of home and community-based work covering the Sefton area with office space available in Southport and Bootle at Sefton Council’s shared office spaces.
Hours: 22.2 hours per week
Salary: £28,840 (Pro-rata) per annum
Contract: Fixed-term contract ending 31st March 2025
Galloways are seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Officer Visual Impairment to join our friendly and supportive team, working collaboratively to achieve ambitious goals and be responsible for identifying, delivering, and evaluating professional rehabilitation interventions to visually impaired people to enhance their skills and confidence to maximise their independence. They will be an advocate for visually impaired people and the organisation. Helping to promote accessible services, equality, social integration and understanding of the impact of sight loss. The post-holder will assess and provide support plans to help people at risk from harm or becoming dependent on others due to their sight loss.
