NESS is the leading local provider of services for people living with serious sensory loss including people who are blind and deaf.

Our highly successful ICT for All service enables people with serious sensory loss to identify their best tech solutions and then help them learn how to use them. This may involve accessing specialist equipment or software or  discovering and using built-in accessibility features on generic smart devices like phones, speakers and tablets.

Due to increased demand, we are recruiting an additional, part time ICT Officer based in Dundee with a Dundee and Angus remit.

The postholder needs to be solution-focussed and a highly motivated self-directed learner.

Although based in Dundee, you will need to travel independently throughout Angus and to our Aberdeen base on occasion.

You will frequently work on your own with service users. You will need to be able to plan and organise your own workload, be well organised and see tasks through to completion. As a member of the wider Added Value team, you will have a diverse range of colleagues who will work closely to support you to the benefit of our service users.

All posts at NESS require membership of the PVG scheme and a disclosure check.

Informal enquiries about this vacancy can be made to Adam Hillhouse on 0845 27 12345.

For further information and details of how to apply, go to the North East Sensory Services website or contact to us at North East Sensory Services, 21 John Street, Aberdeen, AB25 1BT.
