Providing a specialist service to those with multiple disabilities and a visual impairment. Focus Birmingham are looking to appoint an Lead Sight Loss Case Coordinator to support citizens throughout their sight loss journey by offering expert information, advice, guidance and skills to enable people to fulfil their potential. One of the key areas of responsibility will be to provide people living with sight loss with a personalized strengthening plan that supports them to live independently in their community and to make the most of their available vision.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of involving motivating and engaging with variety of people in a variety of settings. Combined with a good understanding of both the practical and emotional needs of service users with visual impairments and/or disabilities. Individuals with an IAG qualification or Rehabilitation qualifications are particularly encouraged to apply.
