Thomas Pocklington Trust are looking for an experienced self-motivated and highly organised Policy Coordinator to join their team and lead in writing and communicating their policy position on Education.
Thomas Pocklington Trust is a national charity dedicated to delivering positive change for blind and partially sighted people. The Education team are committed to ensuring that blind and partially sighted students aged 11+ get the most out of their education.
This role is key in engaging blind and partially sighted students and professionals and developing and implementing influencing strategies that support their education outcomes. The successful candidate will need to be organised, be able to manage conflicting priorities and deliver results without close supervision. They will need excellent communication skills, and the ability to produce high quality written work and have the ability to build and maintain relationships.
TPT require someone who is experienced in partnership working and relationship building as well as being confident to represent the organisation at events and meetings. A knowledge and understanding of the issues effecting blind and partially sighted children and young people is essential in this role.
