Digital Activities Worker

Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £21,787 to £22,788 per annum

We are now hiring a Digital Activity Worker
The ‘Digital Hub’ is part of the new Support Hub service working to develop new opportunities and increase access to a variety of digital opportunities for veterans which will build upon the comradeship that the veteran’s community often enjoy. The service will offer a wide range of activities and information sessions, peer support sessions and others, for veterans and their carers or families to take part in. You will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of the ‘Digital Hub’ service ensuring the highest standard of service is delivered in a person-centred manner. You will be responsible for scheduling, delivering and evaluating the groups within the Digital Hub service.
We are looking for:
A fun, creative, enthusiastic individual who is highly motivated to plan and organise exciting digital activities for veterans with sight loss. It is preferable that you have experience of facilitating digital groups with the ability to build rapport quickly.
You will have proficient IT skills and the ability to use Word/Excel/Teams/Zoom with knowledge of electronic administrative and record keeping systems.
