We’re on the lookout for a CYP Enablement Officer to join our Greater Manchester team and help children and young people with sight loss discover their superpowers. This part-time role is all about bringing joy, building independence and making everyday moments extraordinary.

You’ll lead exciting activities like cooking, social skills sessions and future planning adventures. Whether it’s running our “I Can Do It” confidence course or guiding a “Friendship Matters” social session, you’ll be helping young people grow, laugh and thrive.

Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday

Requirements

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is IT literate and confident communicating with children, families and colleagues
  • Has great time management and organisational skills
  • Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant qualification in childcare, youth work or education
  • Has experience supporting children and young people with disabilities
  • Understands safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Can work flexibly, including evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu)
  • Has access to a vehicle for work purposes (desirable)

An enhanced DBS check with child and adult barring will be required.
