Vision Support is seeking to appoint a Community Development Worker to join our team to provide support to the Operations Managers in building voluntary sector networking opportunities. The role will cover North-East Wales.

The role will be responsible for raising the profile of Vision Support, identifying opportunities for partnership working and developing activity/support groups for people with vision impairment.

We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, flexible and has experience of the voluntary networking sector. Experience of Microsoft Office is essential. Flexibility to work from home, work from offices and travel across Cheshire/North East Wales is also essential.

The position is permanent, working 37 hours per week over 5 days, Monday – Friday. Hybrid working to be negotiated.

Successful completion of a DBS check is required for this position (costs will be met by the employer).
