Walthew House is a small, independent, specialist charity, based in Stockport, providing practical and emotional support to people with sight and/or hearing loss.
The charity’s Chief Executive is retiring after 18 years in post, and our aim is to strike a balance that will ensure continuity of services, whilst providing the incoming Chief Executive with the scope to develop the charity in line with identified need and new opportunities.
Recruitment timeline:
July/August: informal visits to Walthew House to see the work of the charity at first hand, and the opportunity to chat informally with our external recruiter.
Closing date for applications: Monday 2nd September. Application by CV and covering letter.
Tuesday 3rd September: suitably qualified and experienced candidates will be invited to meet the Board of Trustees of Walthew House.
Wednesday 18th September: final interviews.
