Contract: Fixed Term 9 months, full time 36 hours per week

Thomas Pocklington Trust is a national charity dedicated to delivering positive change for blind and partially sighted people.

The Campaigns Intern will be a team player who will work with the Campaigns Officer to support campaigning on public transport, accessible voting and extending the reach of our networks and other tasks within the wider Public Affairs and Campaigns team.

You will promote our campaigns newsletter and campaigns supporters network to encourage more blind and partially sighted people and sighted supporters to back our campaigns

You will need excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, be able to plan, prioritise and organise.

To be eligible for this Intern Programme you must have lived experience of sight loss. The programme runs for 9 months, where you will gain valuable work experience and training. You will also have access to a mentor and support to find permanent employment.
