Beacon Centre for the Blind seek a motivated and experienced Project Administrator for 22 hours a week to support the project team with day-to-day administration of the BBO Bridges programme.

The successful candidate will work solely on our Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Bridges programme which aims to empower people with visual impairments and other disabilities and/or barriers, to develop the skills and confidence to move into employment, further education/training/learning

The administrator will undertake core administration processes to ensure high levels of compliance with detailed Standard Operating Procedures affecting all aspects of service delivery in accordance with the company policies and the funders (ESF & BL) guidelines.

You will provide efficient, professional, and confidential support to the team and you will need to have high levels of organisational skills with robust effective communication skills (written and verbal).

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred; educated to equivalent Level 3, have excellent IT, and have a keen eye for detail. There may be a requirement to travel to and from events and meetings and a Full Clean Driving Licence with business use insurance and access to vehicle would be desirable.
