Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) is a charity that provides a comprehensive rehabilitation service to sight and hearing impaired people of all ages and abilities across Kent.

We are seeking a knowledgeable individual to provide Assistive Technology advice, information, assessment, support and training to sight impaired people in West Kent.

The successful applicant will have excellent ICT skills and a thorough working knowledge of common home and office software packages, as well as an understanding of the accessibility features of mainstream ICT equipment. An understanding of how sight loss can affect people’s daily lives, and how different eye conditions can affect access to mainstream technologies is an essential quality required for the role.

Location: 72 College Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6SJ (hybrid working).
