Libby Clegg, Paralympic champion joins Vista, a local sight loss charity as a Community Fundraiser

Libby Clegg, Paralympic Champion has joined Vista as their Community Fundraiser. She has a deteriorating eye condition known as Stargardt’s Macular Dystrophy disease giving her only slight peripheral vision in her left eye – she is registered blind.

Libby has represented both Scotland and Great Britain in international events. In 2019, she was the first blind contestant to star in the TV series, Dancing on Ice. At the Bydgoszcz 2021 European Championships, Clegg won gold in the T11 200m. Then three months later at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, Libby was part of ParalympicGB’s silver medal-winning quartet in the 4x100m universal relay.
