Visionary Celebrates Excellence Across the Sight Loss Sector at Annual Awards 2026
Visionary is delighted to announce the winners of the Visionary Annual Awards 2026, celebrating the outstanding achievements of organisations working to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people across the UK.
The awards were presented during the Visionary Annual Conference 2026 dinner on 23 September 2026 at Conference Aston, Birmingham. The annual conference was attended by over 200 colleagues from across the sight loss sector.
Hosted by Craig Spalding, Visionary Trustee and CEO of Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans, the awards recognise innovation, impact, partnership and leadership across Visionary’s UK network of member and partner organisations.
The Visionary Awards celebrate the remarkable work that takes place across the sight loss sector and recognise organisations that are delivering effective services, developing innovative approaches, creating successful partnerships and making a meaningful difference in the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
The winners were selected by Visionary member and partner organisations voting from the shortlisted nominees.
This year’s winners demonstrated excellence across five categories.

The winners received £600 prize, Visionary Awards trophy, Digital winner’s icon for use on websites, social media and promotional materials as well as a CreaCube unit, thanks to CreaCube (opens window).
The awards form an important part of Visionary’s annual conference, bringing together charities, partners and sector leaders to share learning, celebrate success and inspire future collaboration. As the national membership organisation for local sight loss charities, Visionary works with sight loss charities to strengthen services and support for blind and partially sighted people throughout the UK.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, host Craig Spalding congratulated all shortlisted organisations and winners, highlighting the passion, innovation and commitment demonstrated throughout the sector.
