Tech for Good funding programme offers charities grants up to £70k to develop digital services

Comic Relief with Paul Hamlyn Foundation have launched the final round of their 3-year joint UK Tech for Good funding programme this month, January 2021.

UK charities with annual incomes of between £75,000 and £10m are eligible to apply for the funds, which will be available over a nine-month period from June.

The Tech for Good 2021 ‘Build’ programme will enable organisations or partnerships to define, test and develop digital solutions over nine months that meet a social need or challenge. Applications that want to adapt or re-purpose existing technology to increase impact in their service delivery are also actively encouraged.

Applications should address one of the following four core themes:

Applications addressing challenges related to disability outside of the themes specified above are also welcome.

Comic Relief and the Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology (CAST) will be running webinars offering additional guidance on 21 January and 28 January.

Applications close on 12 February 2021 at 12:00, midday.
