Sight Loss Councils logo – A vision for change
We’re delighted to announce the launch of Surrey Sight Loss Council (SLC), the newest addition to our growing network of volunteer-led groups across England, Scotland and Wales.
Surrey SLC brings together blind and partially sighted people with lived experience to influence positive change and improve accessibility across the county. Working in partnership with local organisations, businesses and decision-makers, members will help identify barriers, champion inclusive solutions, and ensure the voices of people with sight loss are heard.
The SLC has already begun building connections with local stakeholders and is looking forward to shaping its priorities for the months ahead. From improving access to information and services to promoting greater inclusion in community life, Surrey SLC is committed to making a lasting difference for people with sight loss across the county.
