Applications are now open for the latest cohort of Thomas Pocklington Trust’s Get Set Progress Internship Programme, offering paid internship opportunities for blind and partially sighted people across the UK.

More than an internship programme, Get Set Progress has been a proven route into employment since 2015. Over 150 people have completed the programme, with three out of four moving into employment, education or training within six months.

Group shot of 12 male and female interns from the 2025-26 cohort stood at the back of an office room with a blue carpet and cream walls. A guide dog can be seen in the photo. Several of the interns are holding a white navigation cane. They are smiling and look happy.

Interns gain valuable workplace experience with inclusive employers while benefiting from tailored support, mentoring, training and assistive technology throughout their placement.

Opportunities will be released on a rolling basis throughout the summer across a range of sectors and professions, so candidates are encouraged to check back regularly as new roles are added.
