The FA Group has launched a brand new Disability Training For Clubs: Journey to Inclusion which is a combined toolkit and training workshop.

This aims to provide grassroots football clubs everything they need to know about welcoming and embedding disabled people at their club. It has launched across all our @EnglandFootball channels today and you can see the launch video on YouTube.

Disability Toolkit for Clubs

The online toolkit has been developed with the support of Activity Alliance and takes the form of a simple disability inclusion health check. Working through the health check will help clubs understand their areas of strength, as well as those that need development. Filled with information, practical tips and resources, the toolkit has been designed to help clubs create an action plan which can be implemented to start or grow disability provision at their club.

Disability Training for Clubs

If clubs want to go one step further and take a deeper dive into the barriers disabled people face when accessing football and how to overcome them, or they simply want some additional support in creating and implementing their action plan, there is also a calendar of face-to-face workshops, hosted both locally and nationally, where the toolkit is brought to life through knowledgeable tutors.
