RNIB is supporting the Creative Writing Competition by King’s College London, showcasing the brilliance of words and imagination by people with sight loss.

The creative writing (prose or poetry) should be centred on the writer’s experience of a museum trip, piece of art, or even household object. Taking the lead from the RNIB’s motto, ‘See differently’, to celebrate these different ways of seeing, beholding, and sensing museum artworks and everyday objects and exploring how people with sight loss experience and enjoy museums, art, and objects. Prizes range from £50 for third prize to £250 for first prize.

The deadline is 5pm Friday 2 February 2024.

Further information about the creative writing competition can be found in the PDF below.
