People can make Mother’s Day extra special this year with a charity gift that keeps on giving.

The Beacon Centre for the Blind has created a Mother’s Day gift range with proceeds supporting people impacted by sight loss.

The items have been handmade at the charity’s digital manufacturing hub, the Fab Lab, where visually impaired people are involved with the creations as well as learning business and manufacturing skills to increase their independence.

Among the items available are a personalised apron and mug along with a set of one for you, one for me keyrings in a range of sight friendly colours.

“A gift from our Fab Lab really is a gift that keeps on giving as the proceeds help us ensure no one has to face sight loss alone. We’re delighted to be launching our Mother’s Day 2023 range and we hope the gifts will bring joy to women around the region, whether they are a mum, a mom, a step-mum, a bonus mum, a nanny or a granny or even a doggy mum!”

The range is available to buy online at the charity’s Etsy page.
