The managed migration of claimants in receipt of legacy benefits over to Universal Credit is in progress and the DWP have started to send migration notices to existing claimants.
This one-hour session will provide a basic overview of Universal Credit including:
- the benefits it replaces;
- the claim process;
- how it differs from legacy benefits; and
- the process by which blind and partially sighted legacy benefit claimants will be moved to Universal Credit.
