These monthly sessions are open to trustees and whose organisation is part of the Visionary network.

On 7 August, we will be joined by guest speaker Patrick Wallace. Pat originally trained as a psychiatric nurse before becoming a qualified social worker.  He moved into the third sector in the late 80s and has been CEO of four national charities, including Crossroads Caring for Carers. Pat has served on a number of charitable boards as a trustee and chairperson and is currently Chair of the grant making committee with the Forbes Charitable Foundation.

Following on from what participants have said they would like to talk more about,  Pat will lead a conversation about:

• Trustee roles and responsibilities – brief summary
• Working with and supporting the CEO
• How to identify the warning signs when things may be going wrong and what to do about it
• How to challenge information constructively
• Top tips in good governance and CEO management to get the best out of everyone!
