Are you interested in collaborating to develop an inclusive employment project?

TAVIP, the Technology Association of Visually Impaired People, in partnership with VIDA Training and Gary Eady Computer Training,  will share their experiences of developing an inclusive employment project that’s centred on building essential skills related to the use of assistive and access technology and pre-employment skills around job interviews, CV’s, and presentation. The project also focuses on peer support to increase people’s confidence and awareness of their existing skills.

In this session, we’ll tell you about this work and how it was developed and run, along with our plans for how this could reach more people, perhaps through your organisation. We’ll also talk about the next phase, in which we aim to engage with employers, and collaborate with other organisations including Visionary members. We welcome your questions, comments and discussion and will ensure there is plenty of time for this.
