RNIB Vision Rehabilitation – Freedom of Information Findings and Campaign

Wednesday 13 March 2024
10:00 am to 11:00am
Zoom

Meeting Registration

In consultation with Visionary members, RNIB recently submitted Freedom of Information requests regarding current vision rehabilitation provision across England. Join us on Wednesday 10 March 2024 at 10am as we welcome Sophie Dodgeon, Mike Wordingham and Hannah Donnelly who will share the findings, outline the resulting campaign and answer any questions Visionary members may have.

Campaign Overview: RNIB will be calling on each of the political parties to commit to providing effective and consistent service delivery of vision rehabilitation services across the country, if they form the next UK Government. This is one of RNIB’s key areas of campaigning activity as they want to ensure every blind and partially sighted person receives the right support, whenever they need it. The campaign will highlight the value of vision rehabilitation services for blind and partially sighted people and encourage decision makers to prioritise these vital services.
