Nystagmus and the Nystagmus Network

Join us as we welcome Nystagmus Network for the first of our sessions focussed on different eye conditions.
All staff and volunteers of Visionary member organisations are welcome to our series of condition specific sessions this month; you may be new to the sight loss sector or just want to know more about different eye conditions.
Sue and her colleagues from Nystagmus Network will share the latest information on infantile and acquired nystagmus: diagnosis, effects, quality of life. We will also be guided through the support services available from the Nystagmus Network and elsewhere.
We will also explore Nystagmus research and treatment. To understand current thinking, we will learn about the progress which has been made over the past 3 decades and discover what the future holds.
During the session we will discuss the importance of the patient voice, self-advocacy and how local organisations can work with and refer to the Nystagmus Network.
