LGBTQ+ Sight Loss Sector Staff Group

Guide Dogs and Sight Scotland, supported by Visionary, are proposing the formation of a cross sector LGBTQ+ staff group, open to all LGBTQ+ staff working in sight loss or related organisations. The aim is to provide a safe space and supportive community of peers. This would be open to all staff no matter their role, with a focus on smaller or more regionally focused organisations, particularly those that may not have the means to set up their own group. Meetings would be conducted virtually and confidentially via Zoom.
The agenda would focus on sharing best practice, problem solving, ways or working, advice and support and potentially developing mutually agreed projects.
Our first meeting is at 11am on Thursday 23 May and further dates are to be confirmed.
