Hosting an intern who is visually impaired can be really beneficial for everyone – come to this session and find out more about the Get Set Progress internship programme.

Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) is on the search for new partner organisations to join the Get Set Progress internship programme and host a visually impaired intern.

This session is aimed at decision makers within organisations who are keen to make a positive change, whether you’re a Chief Executive, Director, Fundraiser or HR Manager. If you are interested in onboarding new talent into your organisations this session is for you.

The session will be hosted by the Head of Internships at TPT, Joshua Feehan to discuss how and why your organisation should get involved with the internship programme. We will cover all aspects of how TPT will support your organisation throughout the entire process from the application and interview stage to supporting an intern into further opportunities post-internship. We will also cover the key benefits such as up to 50% of allocated funding toward an intern’s salary being provided by TPT and the RNIB as well as an intern building client / customer relatability to your organisation.

There will be a chance to ask any questions related to the programme and we aim to address any concerns you may have, all the while promoting how the programme can make such a positive change within your workplace. You will also have a chance to meet an intern who has recently completed the programme and hear about their experiences first-hand.
