Fundraisers Forum – Increasing legacy income

This bi-monthly forum is aimed at fundraisers of all levels, providing a platform to collaborate and share ideas to benefit local sight loss organisations.
On 7 March 2024 we are delighted to have Stephen Tongue, Director of Fundraising at Henshaws in Manchester join us to share his years of experience in the third sector with a presentation on legacy fundraising.
Stephen will talk about why legacy giving is so important to Henshaws, and what plans the charity is putting in place to increase legacy income. The presentation will include some of the barriers which often hold us back when it comes to promoting legacies, as well as some of the practical steps we can all take to encourage people to remember a charity in their will.
Please note: From January 2024, the forum will change from monthly to bi-monthly.
