Disenfranchised grief – a grief that is unacknowledged or invalidated by social norms – can be devastating. It may involve losing a beloved customer, a family pet, or feeling very affected by a loss that isn’t directly related to you.

How can we cope with this type of loss? And how can we support others who may share our grief?

Based on the Compassionate Employers programme from Hospice UK, this interactive session aims to discuss secondary loss and discover ways to support ourselves and others. Facilitated by Faith Holloway, Compassionate Employers Programme Lead and workplace wellbeing specialist.

Compassionate Employers

Compassionate Employers is a workplace support programme from Hospice UK. It enables employers to support their employees through grief, caring responsibilities and life-changing illnesses.
