Passionate about tech? Become a Tech Champion!
Are you a blind or partially sighted student aged 18 to 23? Do you have experiences, ideas or advice about using technology in education that could help others?
The Education Team at Thomas Pocklington Trust are looking for students from across the UK to join a new online group of student volunteers, The Tech Champions!
As a Tech Champion you will:
- Develop your technology, communication and content creation skills
- Build confidence and gain valuable experience for future education and employment opportunities
- Connect and collaborate with other blind and partially sighted students
- Create impactful content which will go out on the web/online to help other blind and partially sighted students grow their confidence and knowledge of using tech
- Share your voice to help influence wider change in education
This remote/online volunteering opportunity is ideal for students who are passionate about technology, enthusiastic about getting stuck in with creating content and want to use their experience and knowledge to help other blind and partially sighted students.
