CYP Enablement Officer (21 hours)

Are you ready to turn everyday moments into unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for a CYP Enablement Officer to join our Greater Manchester team and help children and young people with sight loss build confidence, independence and joy.

In this part-time role, you’ll lead creative and empowering activities like cooking, social skills sessions and future planning. You’ll be a key part of delivering our “I Can Do It” confidence course and “Friendship Matters” social programme, helping young people grow and thrive.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys thinking outside the box and wants to make a real difference.

• Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is IT literate and confident communicating with children, families and colleagues
• Has great time management and organisational skills
• Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant qualification in childcare, youth work or education
• Has experience supporting children and young people with disabilities
• Understands safeguarding and confidentiality
• Can work flexibly, including evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu)
• Has access to a vehicle for work purposes (desirable)

An enhanced DBS check with child and adult barring will be required.
