Would you like to gain recent work experience while helping us to develop opportunities for people with sight loss to engage with and create an impact in their local communities?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. You will be supporting RNIB’s Social Action Team in the North West of Northern Ireland. This role requires someone to work from RNIB’s Derry office in Londonderry, Northern Ireland but will also require travel around the wider area, e.g. Ballymena, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Limavady.
RNIB is the leading UK’s sight loss charity helping people with sight loss to thrive. Our Community Social Action team provides support to blind and partially sighted people within their local community to build confidence and independence. Enabling those with sight loss to live a full and independent life.
This role could be your next move towards work. You will have sound IT skills including experience with MS Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as good communication and organisational skills.
This role is part of RNIB’s See Work Differently employment initiative – funded specifically for candidates who experience sight loss and are not in paid work, to secure that first rung on the career ladder or return to work following a career break.
