As one of the UK’s leading charities for blind and disabled people, we’re seeking a bold and inspiring leader to join our Senior Leadership Team and shape the future of our sight loss support services. This is a pivotal role. You’ll lead a passionate team delivering our award-winning Pathway to Independence, spanning digital innovation, community hubs, IAG, counselling and enablement. This is your chance to bring fresh energy, build strategic partnerships, and drive new opportunities that extend our services, partnerships and impact. You’ll be data-driven, relationship-savvy, and values-led, with a track record of leading teams, co-creating with commissioners, and delivering high-quality, inclusive services.

Requirements

As the Head of our Enablement services, you will report to the COO as part of a 3-strong management team within the sight loss support team. You will have experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team across various locations within the disability services delivery space. A proven track record of identifying and securing partnerships or service development opportunities in the health, social care or VCSE sector with clear experience in financial management and budget control, and delivery. Importantly, experience in developing service specifications and business cases to improve the impact for service users. Knowledge of funding across the health and social care sector would be beneficial.
