We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tracie Tappenden as our new Chief Executive. With over 20 years in the sector, Tracie brings extensive experience in advocacy, service development, leadership and fundraising. In addition to a professional commitment to improving the lives of visually impaired and hearing impaired people, Tracie has a deeply personal connection to the cause as the parent of an adult son who is visually and hearing impaired.
This unique perspective strengthens her passion for fostering independence, accessibility, and inclusion for people with visual and hearing impairments. Tracie will be focused on expanding the charity’s impact, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing initiatives that enhance the lives of those who are visually and hearing impaired.
