Become a Vision Support Volunteer Trustee and support visually impaired people to live independently across Furness and South Lakeland.
We are currently seeking additional Trustees who can provide strategic guidance to the organisation helping us make a difference by improving the quality of life for people living with sight loss.
Our focus is on providing excellent services for visually impaired individuals in the community. The charity employs 70 members of staff and has the support of over 60 volunteers.
Vision Support Barrow & District is a point of contact for over 800 visually impaired people living in the local community.
Trustee meetings happen once a month during 10 months of the year. The meetings take place on Friday afternoon for 2 hours.
