Are you somebody who enjoys leading on projects, has experience of partnership working and commitment to person-centred working practices? Do you have an awareness or understanding of sight loss and outstanding organisational and communication skills? Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research and, the best advice and support.

To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Their research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to beat macular disease forever.

We are looking for someone to help us expand and develop a sustainable peer support network for people living with macular conditions, within the London region of England. You will act as a main contact for all our support services across the region including recruit, retain and manage volunteers.
