Thomas Pocklington Trust is a national charity dedicated to delivering positive change for blind and partially sighted people.
This is a pivotal role in shaping our organisation’s culture and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and purposeful environment for all volunteers and employees. The post holder will drive organisational development initiatives to enhance our overall effectiveness, and responsibilities will span managing our HR and Volunteering Teams, talent acquisition, employee and volunteering development and well-being, performance management, and fostering a sense of belonging.
The ideal candidate:
- will have lived or learned experience of visual impairment, with the ability to ensure our strategy maximises the impact of and for our c200 volunteers and c80 staff, many of whom have lived experience of visual impairment.
- CIPD Level 7
- Proven track record of change management
- Proven leadership experience in HR and Volunteering
- Proven experience of developing and delivering HR and Volunteering Strategies
- A collaborative strategic thinker
- Knowledge of Employment Law
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent communication skills
- With a passion to make a difference.
